I grew up on a family farm in rural Indiana. In my childhood, my parents got me my first pet – a female Golden Retriever named Casey. We enjoyed romping around in the yard. Since then, I have enjoyed working with the Golden Retriever breed. When my parents started raising the Golden Irish, I had no idea that I would start raising them eight years later. I’ve found that raising a quality Golden Irish requires a breeder to first obtain exceptional genetics, in order to have exceptional puppies. In the second year of my undergraduate studies, I acquired my first Irish Setter female. We have been going strong ever since! I have enjoyed working with the Golden Irish breed over the years and really enjoy hearing back from satisfied customers with pictures of our puppies!

Our new little girl finally arrived today and we couldn’t be happier!! She is absolutely adorable, has seemingly settled into life in Colorado after a half day and has clearly worn herself out playing. Thank you Golden Ridge Hi-Breds…she is amazing!!Update 1/2/2017
If there is any question about these amazing dogs fitting in to your current family situation, here is proof that they can win over even the surliest of old men. 15 weeks old, we’ve had her for about a month and we can’t separate these two.
Thank you again, our little (not so little anymore) Annie has been an absolute joy to have around and has blended in and adjusted so effortlessly (slightly bragging on the breed intelligence now…she was fully potty trained within 2 days)!!

Just wanted to give you an update on our Indy girl. We couldn’t be happier with our pick and we are absolutely in love with her. She has brought so much joy to our house and we couldn’t imagine life without her. She is very energetic and gives us a run for our money whenever we are outside. She has completed puppy kindergarten and will start her level 1 training next week! She is the smartest dog I know (but we may be a bit biased)! She gets along with every animal or human she meets and we get comments all the time on how beautiful she is! We are so happy to work with you and hope to get another puppy sometime in the future!

Feris is doing awesome. He has fit in to our family great. He is a very loving and sweet boy. He loves the kids. Still working on potty training. We are starting the puppy good citizenship classes. Do we just send you copies of completion and neutering when the time comes for the rebate?

Copper is a beautiful dog and actually has a calm demeanor. The trainer thinks he is very smart because [the trainer] said that only 1 in 50 dogs would attempt to go through your legs when you are blocking them. House training is going well and we are working on the jumping and stuff. We all love him and so do all the neighbor kids too. I’ll keep sending pics as he grows. We are really glad that we found you in Indiana and remind Copper that he is a lucky dog to be in the mountains now.
